GP Branch Cashless Transition

Frequently asked questions about the transition to cashless operations at the GP Branch and what it means for you.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the cashless transition.
1. What does “cashless operations” mean?

Beginning April 13, the GP Branch will no longer handle cash transactions at the teller line. This includes cash withdrawals, deposits, payments, and check cashing. Members can still complete all non-cash services with the assistance of our onsite team.

2. Why is this change happening?

Transitioning to cashless operations improves security for both members and staff while allowing the GP Branch to become a Lending & Operations Center. This enhanced format provides more private, sit‑down service areas where members can: apply for loans; open memberships; discuss financial needs with a representative; and receive personalized banking support.

3. What services can I still visit the GP Branch for?

You can continue to visit this branch for: Check Deposits; Account Services; Loan Applications; Digital Banking Assistance; Card Services; and General Member Support. Our team will remain on-site to help with these services.

4. Will the drive‑thru be available?

No. The GP Branch drive‑thru will close as part of the cashless transition.

5. How can I withdraw or deposit cash?

You can access cash using the GP Branch ATM, which provides: withdrawals up to $600 per day; balance inquiries; and check and cash deposits. For in-branch cash needs, you may visit a nearby full-service location.

6. Where are the nearby branch locations?

East Broad Branch – 1026 East Broad Street, Monticello, MS 39654
New Hebron Branch – 500 Main Ave, New Hebron, MS 39140

Beginning April 11, all Saturday services will be offered exclusively at East Broad.

7. Will my account or membership change because of this?

No. Your account, membership, and access to services remain the same. This change only affects how transactions are handled inside the branch.

8. Can I still speak with a representative in person?

Absolutely. The GP Branch will continue to offer personalized, face‑to‑face assistance for loans, accounts, digital banking, and general support.

9. What if I prefer using cash for my banking?

You can continue to withdraw or deposit cash: at the GP ATM (limited to $600/day); at any nearby full-service branch; or at CO‑OP Network ATMs (if your credit union participates).

10. Who can I talk to if I have more questions?

Our team is here to help. Stop by the branch or call your nearest location, and we’ll gladly walk you through any concerns or details related to the change.
